Monfort Wallpaper in Indigo Blue

Montfort is a toile in the old French tradition, drawn entirely by hand. Across an indigo and off-white ground, a quiet countryside unfolds: sheep grazing in open pasture, antelope on the distant peaks of the Pyrenees, and birds sweeping over rolling hills and tall trees. Part of Sandberg's Le Village collection, it was inspired by the Béarn village of Montfort and the small stone château at its heart, right down to the designer's poodle resting beneath an ancient oak. The effect is storied and serene, a wallpaper that gives a dining room, study, or entryway a real sense of place.

Drawn by hand in Sweden and printed on a durable non-woven backing, it goes up with a paste-the-wall application and wears beautifully over time.
