Hi, I'm Nicole.

I wanted to introduce myself so you know who the heck is posting :) Interior Design has been my life for the past 10 years, but starting my own business, putting my design ideas online, and taking on my own reno with my fiancé, Brad, is definitely a new chapter. My hope is that you'll leave my posts feeling like you learned something, are inspired, or discovered a new idea that you can take and apply to your own projects! I hope you will grow with me (through all stages of life) and keep coming back to my posts for inspiration. 

Some background info about me... I'm 28, I got my degree in Interior Design and went full force ahead into commercial design, became ARIDO registered, NCIDQ licensed, and built up my portfolio. Sometime in the last few years I fell in love with residential design and the whole process of creating a home. I've always had the entrepreneurial itch, ever since owning my first company at 23, and this year it just felt like the right time to make a change (amidst buying my first home with Brad and wedding planning). 

I plan to post loads of how-tos and updates about our home reno and my life that is along for the ride. Brad and I are basically gutting this 60's bungalow and turning it into our dream home (for now). He is a "handyman" and just all around crazy talented at building whatever, and I'm pretty good at coming up with designs... so we make a great team :) I'm going to be sharing my inspirations, designs, sources, and finishing decor and styling pieces with you. Our goal is to be finished a few of the main spaces by our wedding (thank you COVID-19 for the postponed wedding). 

I'm also providing full-service interior design through Maison Blonde and I'm bring my laidback living vibes and style into my client's homes, offices and showrooms. I have a few exciting clients in the works that I can't wait to share!!
